My name is Mariam,
I’m mother and an independent illustrator based in Egypt.

I love creating art that promotes values and talk about causes in our inner worlds ( feelings, dreams, personal challenges,..) and our bigger world ( environment, paying it forward, ..)

I’ve explored and studied multiple design disciplinaries, Architecture (which is my college degree), Illustration for motion and motion graphics (which is my diploma), graphic design and digital painting. I’ve finally settled on children book illustration as it servers the most noble purpose and fits me the most. But I’m always very excited to explore new projects and see the amazing ideas out there.
